Mr. Piñero is an experienced professional in the fertilizer and agriculture industry. Prior to joining XTS, he has worked with leading fertilizer trading firms, and founded fertilizer distribution companies in LatAm. Mr. Pinero also founded and serves on the Board of Evoagro, a leading farming productivity integrator and fertilizer distributor in Colombia.

Prior to his experience in fertilizers and agriculture, Mr. Pinero held senior positions in leading latin American conglomerates in Steel, Infrastructure and Health, having broad experience and working in Rio de Janeiro, Caracas and Bogotá. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela. He is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Mr. Duncan is a seasoned commodities trader with over 20 years of experience in global markets, specializing in biofuels, feedstocks, and energy transition solutions.

As Head Trader – Biofuels & Feedstocks at XTS Commodities AG, he leads the sourcing, trading, and risk management of sustainable fuel solutions, leveraging deep market expertise and structured financing strategies to optimize supply chains.

Prior to joining XTS, Mr. Duncan held senior trading and leadership roles at Noble Group, Citi, Deutsche Bank, and Arcadia Commodities. At Arcadia, he was instrumental in expanding the firm’s footprint in Asia, developing structured trade finance solutions, and driving growth in palm oil and agricultural commodity trading. His experience spans physical trading, structured finance, and market risk management, with a strong focus on emerging markets across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

With a deep understanding of commodity flows and risk strategies, Mr. Duncan has advised hedge funds, family offices, and corporate clients on supply chain financing, energy transition investments, and market risk management. He is also a recognized speaker at global industry conferences, sharing insights on trading strategies, sustainable energy, and commodity market trends.

Mr. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Finance and a Bachelor of Economics from Newcastle University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and an Executive Certificate in Hedge Fund Management from Henley Business School, University of Reading.
